But what is a Game Park?
In Brazil, the gaming industry generates around US$1.25BI/year in revenue, only behind the USA, Japan and China. We are also the 3rd e-Sports consumer worldwide, which represents 66MM people; and these numbers are expected to grow each and every day. But even with so much relevance, this national passion didn’t have a proper stage so far.
And that's why we created the concept of a Game Park. Game XP is the largest game event in Latin America and, starting in 2018, the world's first Game Park.
The premiere took place inside Rock in Rio 2017, when it received 361,000 people. In 2018, for four days Game XP took over the three Olympic arenas of Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro, as well as an external area of 100 thousand square meters.
Not only a fair, not just a convention and definitely not a regular theme park. Game XP has all the features of each of these, but since none of them contemplate it in its entirety, we created our own event model.
One of the attractions we developed was the world's largest game screen - Guinness verified - with lots of pro-players championships, performances and presentations.
a game park is not a game park without life-size game activations so people of all ages could play as if they were inside of the games.
